Application Process

To register your interest in our schemes please send your CV and covering letter to students@uk.experian.com noting your UCAS points where appropriate. 

Applicants who meet our requirements will be shortlisted and contacted by our Student & Graduate Programme Consultant in our Talent & Resoucing Team.

Due to the specific requirements of the Experian Graduate Recruitment Programme we are unable to consider applications for the programme from anyone who is on a time-limited visa, and does not have permanent residency status in the UK.

 

Following shortlist, candidates will undertake a series of assessments to determine their suitability for our programmes and our business.

Assessments vary from scheme to scheme but a typical process could be as follows, and several assessments could take place on the same day.

  • Pre-screening
  • Telephone interview
  • Online testing
  • Assessment centre
  • Competency based interview

An assessment centre may include an individual presentation and a group exercise combined with an interview. Whilst some schemes may follow this formal process with a second interview others may invite successful candidates for one of our Talent Days, where graduates can further demonstrate their skills whilst working on a real life case study. Throughout the process, candidates will also be assessed against our Global Behaviours to ensure they are a good fit for our teams and our culture.

Please note that due to the amount of applications we recieve it may take up to eight weeks for us to get round to your application and get in touch, those who are rejected at pre-screening stage will not be able to gain feedback but note in this case you would be rejected on the basis of not meeting the requirements listed in the job specification.
