Experian will monitor your customers for a range of events that take place on the credit bureau. Known as Collections Triggers, these will be available to the Collections Information Service process the day after they occur on the credit bureau.

Amongst others, the Triggers may include:

  • Address change
  • New insolvency
  • New search
  • New Credit Account Information
  • Sharing (CAIS) account
  • New mortality
  • New associations
  • New alias

All of this information will be available to you at the touch of a button, with a range of tools designed to help your collections and recoveries staff make consistent and effective decisions. These will include a version of Experian’s successful Delphi range of bureau

scores, designed to predict the likelihood of the customer making a payment within the next 3 months.

As with all Delphi scores, Delphi for Collections will be reviewed and redeveloped regularly to ensure that it is as effective as possible. In future releases of the service, we intend to launch a range of further scores to predict insolvency, litigation suitability and net worth.

For those situations where further information is appropriate, the solution includes direct access to tracing and credit data – without the need for the operator to re-key any of

the customer’s details.
