December 2013: UK to spend 45 million hours shopping online over Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day
So far December 2013 is already a record breaking month for online retail and using data from Experian Hitwise UK internet users are predicted to smash last year’s records for visits across the three key Christmas days.
December 2013: ‘Middle Cyber Monday’ eclipses ‘Cyber Monday’ as biggest UK shopping day ever seen
Experianreveals that for the first time ever the second Monday of December (9 December 2013), coined “Middle Cyber Monday”, was the biggest online shopping day of the year, eclipsing Cyber Monday (2 December 2013), the previous record holder.

Experian reveals its online retail predictions for this year’s festive season. Insight from Experian Hitwise indicates that Christmas 2013 will be the biggest ever for online retailers in the UK. Visits to UK retail websites are expected to reach 113 million on Monday 2nd December - known as the UK’s “Cyber Monday”.
November 2013: Christmas Creep creates new consumer shopping patterns
