SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area)

SEPA, or the Single Euro Payments area is an EU initiative that seeks to remove the barriers to the movement of funds across borders and reduce the cost of euro payments to the level of domestic transfers. SEPA is being driven by three key bodies: the European Commission (EC), the European Central Bank (ECB) and the European Payments Council (EPC).
