Career breaks

Whether it’s to focus on childcare, pursue a personal project or take off and see the world, at some point you might want to take a break from work. After you have worked with us for a certain time period, Unpaid career breaks give you the chance to take three to 12 months off before returning to your previous or a similar role.

 

Inclusive working environment

As an example, our Women in Experian programme was launched in March 2016 to inspire women and help them understand their potential. It ranges from mentor schemes to webinars and networking events, all overseen by female senior leaders from all regions and functions.

Community involvement

Giving back has always been important to us. Some companies may support good causes because it’s expected of them, but for us it goes way beyond that. We’re passionate about giving people access to financial services. More than that, our scale and expertise means we’re in a unique position to help tackle debt and improve people’s financial wellbeing around the world.

Partnerships

We work with partners from business and the public and voluntary sectors to improve financial education, help build financial identities and tackle unmanageable debt.

Volunteering

Our people get three days a year to spend volunteering with a local charity or organisation. It’s a chance to do something different, support a charity close to your heart and make a positive contribution to your community.

Charity

Experian has its own charity, the Heart of Experian Charity Fund, which was set up to help small groups and organisations experiencing tough financial times. As well as raising funds, we also provide gifts in kind through our products and services.
