Southerners are the most likely
to switch energy supplier

People living in in London, the South East and the South West are the most likely to switch energy supplier1.

That’s according to switching service, Runpath, who found those in the North, Yorkshire and Humber, and Wales are the least likely to change their supplier to get a cheaper deal.

Hats off to you if you live in St Albans, Windsor, Bishops Stortford, Maidenhead and Woking– households here are the most likely to shop around for the best deal.

Whereas those in Skegness, Manchester and parts of Birmingham are least likely to switch and save.

Switch and save

Wherever you are in Britain, you could be saving money if you shop around for your supplier. Government figures show you could be saving around £200 a year by switching2 , and in some cases, even more.

We’ve partnered with Runpath so you can compare more than 300 energy tariffs, with 120 available to switch directly to.

If that’s not enough to convince you to compare suppliers, see if your home town features in our most and least likely to switch list!
