For organisations that require annual updates of households and population, Experian has created small area estimates of population, age and gender.
How can we help you?
A wide variety of small area data including Census 2001 results, PAF (Postal Address File) counts and lifestyle data are used to track changes in household, population and postal geography. This is then calibrated to match the JICPOPS approved standard based on the most recently available government household and population projections.
A few key facts
- Experian’s estimates of households and population as at mid-year (30 June) are available by postcode, Output Area and postal sector.
- These estimates of population, age and gender provide annual indicators of change in the demographic composition of local areas.
