As a contributing member of the Claims Underwriting
Exchange (CUE) you can share and view motor, home and
personal injury/industrial illness incidents reported to
insurance companies. The CUE solutions will save your organisation time and give you confidence in the decisions you are making
The benefits at a glance:
Helps insurers verify an individual’s household, motor or personal injury claims history
Helps to prevent potential fraud by identifying non-disclosure, such as concurrent claim activity with other insurers
Improves financial performance through more accurate pricing
Helps honest policy holders to keep claim premiums down
Assists in identifying customer misrepresentation, multi event claimants and potentially criminal activity
Helps to improve customer service, and reduces call time by giving you the information you need to make accurate decisions quickly
Results in pricing being based on the “true” rather than “disclosed” risk.

With help from Experian’s tracing solutions, we were able to reduce our ‘goneaways’ back book and reunite more of our customers with funds owed to them. This solution helps us work towards our original purpose of helping people take responsibility for their future and achieve a lifetime of financial security. The communication with Experian throughout the project was fantastic and we’re pleased with the results.

What is the CUE?
Established in 1994 to help honest policyholders to keep
down their premiums, CUE is a central shared database
of motor, home and personal injury/industrial illness
incidents reported to insurance companies.
CUE holds 6 years of claims history within the database,
to give an accurate picture of a customer’s insurance
past. Managed by the Motor Insurers Bureau on behalf
of its member organisations, CUE members can include
insurance companies, local authorities and other self-insured
organisations. CUE can be utilised at many stages of the customer
lifecycle, from quotation and policy acceptance, through to claim.
